Digitalstorytelling in it's truest sense is a personal narrative. However, the term is used more broadly in education to describe stories that students have written then published digitally. The digital stories can created in many different formats, using various tools such as presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote, or OpenOffice Presentation); iLife (iPhoto, iTunes, GarageBand, and iMovie); or Tech4Learning's Pixie and Frames.
