We all have something to say...something2say.jpg

We all have something to say. Some of stories are about a family member, some about a memorable event or vacation, maybe a beloved pet, or even our own life story. But we all have a story to share. Digital Storytelling allows us to build multimedia videos with images, audio, and/or music to share with family and friends. What's YOUR story?

If you think about it, we spend our lives telling stories and sharing experiences. Whether it be a retelling of what happened at the grocery store or a description of how we fixed something, we all like to share the events of our lives. This is particularly true of children. They will follow anyone around who will listen to talk about what they are learning about the world around them.
Until recently, their audience has been limited to those individuals in their immediate world, but no longer. One of the exciting things going on in education right now is the ability to share student stories (both written and oral), art work, and pictures with loved one both near and far.

This wiki is being created for two purposes:

1 - To give teachers a place where they can collaborate on ideas of how to use technology in storytelling
2 - A place to share resources for using digital storytelling and podcasting in the classroom
